Attune was started in 2014 by music therapist, Phil Evans…

Since graduating in 2011 with a Masters in Music Therapy from Nordoff Robbins in London, Phil has worked as a music therapist with a wide range of client groups. He currently spends half his working week in the care home sector, and divides the rest of the week between work in cancer care and special education. He also lectures and supervises, and has run the group music therapy module for the Nordoff Robbins Masters course.

Phil set up Attune to develop the best possible music therapy provision for social care providers, schools and beyond. As the Covid-19 crisis developed, Attune re-focused on collaborating with service providers to create and deliver effective music therapy services online - and between March 2020 and March 2021, Phil delivered just over 1000 hours of live music therapy sessions via Zoom.

Before becoming a music therapist Phil initially trained as a music teacher, then co-ran the Soho Jazz Festival before joining Sky TV, where for 10 years he worked as a publicist for Sky News and Sky Movies.

In addition to his music therapy work, Phil is a composer for tv and still performs regularly live (except during global pandemics, obviously).
